Mrs. Kim immigrated to the United States from South Korea in 1981. Upon arriving in the United States Mrs. Kim started her career in the restaurant industry as a cook and manager. After years of working in restaurants, Mrs. Kim opened her own cafe in 1987. Over 30 years later the Fair Oaks Express Cafe has been one of the longest serving restaurants in the Fair Oaks community.
