Personal Information

I was born on December 22nd, 1985 in Santeramo in Colle (BA), Puglia, Italia. I attended the scientific high school "Ricciotto Canudo" in Gioia del Colle from 1999 to 2004. 

I like poetry, and my favorite author is Marcel Proust.

I then attended University of Bari Aldo Moro, where I earned a Laurea Triennale in Mathematics in 2007 and a Laurea Specialistica in Mathematics and Applications to finance in 2009. 

On January 2010 I obtained a doctorate fellowship at Università degli Studi di Bari under the supervision of Prof. Luciano Lopez.

On January 2011 I enrolled in the PhD program in Mathematics at Georgia Institute of Technology, under the supervision of Prof. Luca Dieci

During my graduate studies, I received a M.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, under the supervision of Prof. Wassim M. Haddad, in Summer 2014. 

I successfully defended my PhD thesis on April 2nd, 2015, and received the PhD in Mathematics from GeorgiaTech on December 11th, 2015.

From June 1st, 2016, to August 31st, 2019, I served as mathematician, algorithm developer and control engineer for Code Architects Automation Srl in Santeramo in Colle. From September 1st, 2019, to December 20th, 2020, I have been appointed lead data scientist for Code Architects Srl.

From September 1st, 2019, to December 20th, 2020, I served as assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Czech Technical University in Prague. I did research in the AI group led by Prof. Michal Pěchouček, collaborating with the Research Center for Informatics (RCI).  

From December 21st, 2020, to December 20th, 2023, I served as assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics at University of Bari Aldo Moro.

From December 21st, 2023, I am researcher at the Istituto per le Applicazioni del Calcolo "Mauro Picone" of Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche.
