ECON 391: Topics in Economics: Economic Development

Economic analysis of development process. Topics covered include classic theories of economic growth, contemporary models of development and underdevelopment; population growth and human capital in economic development; international trade theory and development strategy; the role of the financial system in economic development.

ECON 101 and ECON 102 are prerequisites for this course.
