Each census consists of four or five parts. First, each location (township or town) is a link that will take you to Google maps to illustrate where this location is within the state. (Note, this is currently dynamically generated but some older names unknown to Google Maps are used so not all results are accurate.) Next, if a specific or general location of the residence is known, there will be a Google Maps link to show this location zoomed in to show both satellite and map details. Next, the list of names from the census that have been entered into the family database. Note that those names that are shown as links that will result in a view of four generations of this person (2 up, 2 down), if clicked. Next, is the data taken from the census itself. Part of this is the transcribed data as found on Ancestry.com and part of it consists of data that I read from the original census record. In most cases, this is organized as a string of data contained within {}, one for each person, with a code of how to read it at the top. Finally, a link to the original census image may be given at the end. If it is not given, you can request it from me. Note also that at the beginning of each year, a blank census record is available so that you can know how to view the original record. (These are only for federal censuses that took place in years that were multiples of 10.)
