Research interests include semantics, pragmatics, the development of semantic and communicative competence, psycholinguistics, social cognition and its relation to pragmatics.

Sun Chao completed her PhD in Linguistics at UCL. In 2020 she takes up a Humboldt Fellowship at ZAS, Berlin.

Gideon Salter

Gideon completed his MSc at UCL in 2016 and is currently a PhD student at St Andrews, interested in the development of social cognition and communication in infants.

Ye Tian

Ye completed her PhD in Linguistics at UCL under the supervision of Richard Breheny. She is currently a research scientist at MediaTech. Her PhD research focused on negation processing. https://sites.google.com/site/yetianlinguistics/

Xiaobei Zheng Xiaobei completed her PhD in Linguistics under the supervision of Richard Breheny. She is currently lecturer at Research Centre for Language and Cognition, Shenzhen University. Her research interests are cognitive and communicative development. In particular her research focus is on Common ground and Theory of Mind.
