Jesus has set the transgendered free

God does not intend for the Christian to be trans-gendered.

God did not create anyone trans-gendered.

God is the healer of trans-genderism NOT the creator.

These are strong statements. These are defining statements. These are also true statements.

The world has no qualms about declaring ‘trans-genderism is incurable, inbuilt, inborn and genetically programmed into the brain’.

Yes the world may say ‘once trans-gendered, always trans-gendered’. That’s because there’s no way in the world that a trans-gendered person will ever be anything other than trans-gendered. This is the world’s message for there is no way in the world that trans-genderism can be dealt with! The world does not have an answer for trans-genderism.

The answer to a cross-dressing habit, trans-genderism and trans-sexuality is found solely in Jesus Christ; His word and His Spirit.

The world is under the power of the wicked one and everyone of the world is powerless to break his hold and authority over their lives (1 John 5:19). So, of course, trans-genderism is unchangeable and incurable to those of the world for they are slaves to it. Its power is over them and they have no way in which to break its hold.

Although some in the world may have heard Jesus’ words, “Whom the son has set free shall be really free” (John 8:36) they have not believed them and therefore they have not understood them. A person is not ‘really free’ if there is a power or pull that still maintains control over them. It is the same as any addiction, as long as the addiction has control of a person, that person remains under its power (Romans 6:16). Jesus said that those who obeyed Him and His words of truth would be ‘free indeed’ (John 8:32). That is absolutely free and ‘unquestionably free’ (Amplified Bible).

Whether you consider the trans-gender condition a mental illness, a psychological disorder, a medical condition or a genetic disposition, the answer to its incurability and unchangeableness is still in Jesus Christ.

The Apostle Paul wrote, “You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness” (Romans 6:18). If the Christian has been set free from sin, of which the Bible clearly states, then the Christian has also been set free from trans-genderism.

Notice that Jesus’ words “Whom the son has set free shall be really free” (John 6:36) are written in the past tense. It is the same as the statement that the Apostle Paul made in Romans “You have been set free …” (Romans 8:16, 22). They are both past tense statements.

Sin, sickness, psychological disorders, emotional disturbances and even genetic abnormalities have already been dealt with. They are all covered under the same umbrella of ‘sin’. For sin is anything that does not proceed from faith (Romans 14:23) just as anything that does not glorify God is sin (Romans 3:23). Jesus Christ has already dealt with the sin problem in His death and resurrection. The Holy Spirit continues His work in the heart of the believer to eradicate sin on every level from our lives.

Regardless of how rampant sin is in the world, the sin problem was dealt with through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ over 2000 years ago. Every disease, sickness, mental illness or disorder has already been dealt with. Jesus was the fulfillment of what was spoken of thousands of years ago “He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.” (Matthew 8:17) and so now “by his stripes we were healed” (Isaiah 53:5 and 1 Peter 2:24). We are living now in a time when Christ’s followers, through the power of the name of Jesus, enforce His authority over the enemy. With the last enemy to be defeated being death (1 Corinthians 15:26), all other enemies have been defeated (Hebrews 2:14-15). Therefore those who are “in Christ” are now healed, delivered, and set free from sin. What good news that is to anyone struggling with trans-genderism.

Jesus asks each of us the same question that he asked the man sitting by the pool at the Sheep Gate, “Do you want to be made well?” (John 5:1-15). He asks all those who struggle not only those who are sick, but all with temptations that are contrary to God’s word. For all healing starts with a desire to reach out to Jesus asking for His healing and deliverance. The offer has been made to all: “Will you be made whole?” (King James Version). Let us all come with humility, asking for the Lord to make every part of us whole, whole in spirit, soul and body, restoring that which is incomplete to Him, cleansing that which is filthy so that it becomes clean and setting right all that is wrong.

May the truth that Jesus’ death and resurrection has completely dealt with the trans-gender problem be heralded throughout the world.
