Grading

In-class participation accounts for 20% of the final mark.

During the course, students will have to present one of the papers reported in bold in the syllabus. The presentation will account for 30% of the final mark.

The remaining 50% of the final mark will be determined by the final exam.

The final exam is a take home. Students will have to propose a research question of their choice, and develop an experimental design meant to provide an answer to the proposed question. Students must show they master the methodological tools discussed in the course and motivate their design based on the literature discussed in class. The assignment must be handed in within 1 month from the end of the course (negotiable).
