GPS Map On Excel (with Voice Navigation)
HAPPY Birthday!!!
2 weeks ago, my wife organized for me an EXCEL-lent birthday party. I did make a typographical error here. I mean literally an Excel-lent birthday. I have attached the picture for non-believers. My wife is surprising me year to year.
That was then but now, my daughter Alissa will be 5 years old next week. The party house might not be easy to find so I thought about a map on Google to send to all invitees. Thinking more about it, I am not an "Google Maps guru", they call me the Excel Guru after all. Since there is nothing that Excel cannot do I should give it a try on Excel. So I went back and think about the tools needed to create a map on Excel.
Voice Navigation? REALLY!!!!
When I finished the GPS Map on Excel, I wanted to add voice navigation to it so people do not miss the miscellaneous turns to reach the party house. This way, when you click on the scroll buttons my Excel GPS Map tells you the directions.
Does it talks? Yes it does. I am using speech recognition tools of Excel to make it speak. Enable "Text To Speech" to get 100% of your Excel GPS. Click here to know how enable Text-to-Speech?
