Notes for students

Schedule

The course will start at 8.30 am to 12.00 (morning session) and from 13.30 to 17 (afternoon session).

Computer and software

• You do not need to bring a computer. You will be working on virtual desktop terminals provided by the university, and there will be no power plugs at the desks to plug power supplies into.
• Please bring your models and data on a USB key to the course. USB keys are the only way to get your models and data onto the university computers for the course.

Preparations

• We advise that you become familiar with the suggested reading material in this site.
• Please be aware that we are expecting you to present your model and research questions in 3 or 4 PowerPoint slides at the first day of the course.
