Question: How do I calculate the Sample size?

Answer: For those who want to make sure their survey has the most accurate data possible, it is necessary to consider the ideal size of survey needed. To help you, we have a sample size calculator that we can recommend to get started: Survey System Sample Size Calculator. When you use the calculator you will need to put in information about:

a) How confident you are about your results. For example if 99% of respondents report some form of e-waste, you can be highly confident. If on the other hand only 12% of respondents report this, you will be less confident.

b) The size of the population your sample represents.

The calculator will then tell you the ideal sample size for your project. You can then organize your team so it will be able to survey the appropriate number of people. You then print of the necessary surveys and get the response.
