Who am I meant to be?

Am I the descendant of a king?

Or of a warrior, brave and free?

Who am I?

This I cannot see.

The distorted views of society

Have misguided my destiny.

Who am I?

Where do I fit on my family tree?

I asked this question with sincerity,

But no one could truly answer me.

Who am I?

Then I searched the word of God.

Its truth has made me free.

And in its perfect liberty,

I have found my true identity.
