I am an economist specializing in macroeconomics, international finance, and public policy. My research focuses on sovereign debt, capital flows, and macroprudential regulation, with publications in top field journals.

In addition to academic research, I have consulted for the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank, advising on macroeconomic and financial policy. I also contribute to policy discussions through the Monetary Policy Group. Currently, I lead the MSc in Economic Analysis at Universidad de Chile
