As academic law librarians, we strive to support the academic institution and community for which we serve. Through the collection, organization, and retrieval of legal information, academic law librarians can aid the academic community to be prepared for any legal endeavor they encounter.

Principle 2- We promote intellectual freedom and the avoidance of censorship.Principle 3- We are committed to the protection of privacy and confidentiality for the academic community we serve.Principle 4- We value intellectual property rights through the practice of the fair use limitation of federal copyright law.Principle 5- We believe in excellence within the profession through professional development activities and skill enhancement.
