Use TexStudio to generate EPS figures
Some journals require EPS figures for the final publication. I use R + tikzDevice to generate tex files for high quality tikz figures. The default output is PDF figure. How to get EPS figure?
This answer on StackExchange provides a way: link
Summary of the answer (for TexStudio):
Include in your document preamble: \documentclass[convert={outext=.eps, command=\unexpanded{pdftops -eps \infile}}]{standalone}
Go to Options/Configure TexStudio... --> Commands and in the line for PdfLatex write this: \documentclass[convert={outext=.eps, command=\unexpanded{pdftops -eps \infile}}]{standalone}
In the Build tab, make sure the default compiler is PdfLatex
You are done. The compilation of tex file will generate both PDF and EPS figures.
