I am an Economist at the World Bank's Chief Economist's Office for the Infrastructure VP, leading research on digital transformation and its development impacts. Author of the book “Cybersecurity Economics for Emerging Markets”, a pioneering contribution to the field, as well as several peer-reviewed publications examining the economic impacts of digitalization.
I hold a PhD in Economics and a M.A. in Game Theory from Stony Brook University, as well as advanced studies in Computer Science. Before joining the World Bank I held academic appointments as an Economics Lecturer at universities in the United States and Ecuador.
