Welcome to my website!

I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at Vassar College. I joined the department in 2017 after completing my Ph.D. at Indiana University.

I am a macroeconomist specializing in monetary policy transmission and the interaction between credit and labor markets. Much of my recent work examines these issues in the context of immigrants, who provide a unique case study given the additional barriers they face in accessing and/or using credit.

I teach intermediate and upper-level macroeconomics courses, including Money and Banking, Financial Markets and Investments, Macroeconomic Theory, and Advanced Topics in Macroeconomics. I have also taught Introductory Microeconomics various times, mostly prior to joining Vassar.
