Volunteers required for earthquake drill

Eric Hamber Secondary is planning to incorporate Student Release/Reunification in our upcoming earthquake drill on May 4th and require parents/guardians to volunteer to simulate the process of picking up a student. Vice Principal David Bach is

looking for approximately 10-15 parents in total to assist. Please contact Mr. Bach via email ASAP at dbach@vsb.bc.ca if you would like to participate.

Details:

· On May 4th, at approximately 2:30, parent to arrive at school

· Parent will then report to the check-in desk, fill out a release form and show ID

· Parent will then be directed to report to the release area, and student will be brought to parent

· Process should take approximately 20-30 minutes, and student would be dismissed
