Please join Studio staff, parents, students, friends and families at our fun-filled annual VIP reception and fundraiser, then take your specially-reserved premium seat for the Hamber musical, Fiddler on the Roof. Before the show, you'll enjoy a delicious buffet that will include gluten-free and vegetarian options, alongside a cash-only bar serving wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages including coffee and tea. At the interval, you're invited back to the Staff Lounge, where beer, wine, non-alcoholic drinks, tea and coffee will again be available.
NEW: We'll have music! A spirited set of old-world klezmer recordings from the back stacks of Accordion Noir Radio's music library will be presented with genuine live squeezebox action by Rowan Lipkovits of Der Royshiker Krokves (The Creaking Planks).
Theatre tickets are $15 at the door of the Eric Hamber Staff Lounge, and we're requesting a minimum donation of $10 for the reception, cheque or cash accepted. All funds raised by Studio Parents go to support Studio students and programming. You may also choose to attend the reception only for a minimum donation of $10.
SPACE IS LIMITED so please RSVP promptly to guarantee tickets. When you respond, please indicate any food allergies, and whether you'll be attending the reception + performance or reception only. VOLUNTEERS are still needed, so if you would like to help at the event, please email Eileen Camparmo at dcamparmo@hotmail.com.
By attending Fiddler on the Roof, you'll be supporting the fantastic Studio students who are part of the cast and crew, including Ari Blondal, Sean Bray, Catherine Camparmo, Ben Chapman-Kish, Jasmine Hopfe, Maxwell Iverson, Malivia Khondaker, Mikaela Milne, Jesse Rose, Paul Shultes, Chris Sims, Ethan Symons-Ferraro and Antonio Tanaka - and of course the director and Head of Studio, Mr. David Nicks.
Please consider a designated driver, carpooling or booking a taxi if you'll be visiting the bar. We look forward to seeing you, your family and friends on the 18th!
