Notes
7z and ZIP version of the same file contain the same data.
7- Zip software is required to extract the 7z archive, but the 7z archive is smaller than the ZIP archive.
How to use these essentials <MM YYYY>.<zip or 7z> files
Extract 7z or ZIP archive in a folder that MATLAB can access.
To get started, read the User guide document of the English documentation in Documentation EN-US folder.
Configure the interface. There are video tutorials available, see Documentation EN-US / video tutorials. To learn how to configure the interface for the Beaver Creek project, watch Tutorial:
Simple automation example
To start the MATLAB HEC-RAS interface:
a. Launch MATLAB (e.g., R2020a version)
b. Change the MATLAB working folder to the folder which contains the launcher.m script
c. Type “launcher” in the MATLAB command window and hit the ENTER key to launch the launcher.m script.
Follow instructions on screen.
Note: Tutorial 0 - Explanation on how obtaining the archive. It is not required if users download 7z or ZIP archive.
