I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Calgary and hold the Canada Research Chair in Environmental, Energy and Resource Economics.

I am a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), an invited researcher at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), and a faculty affiliate at the E2e initiative.  

I also serve as a Co-Editor at the Journal of Environmental Economics and Management  and on the editorial council at Land Economics, Journal of the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists, and Applied Economic Perspectives and Policy

My research interests are in the fields of Energy and Environmental Economics
