Our beautiful entrance to Eagle Rock
Eagle Rock at Snow Canyon is a planned unit development of 92 single-family homes that belong to the Eagle Rock at Snow Canyon Homeowners Association. The development began construction in 1998 with stylish stucco and tile roof homes designed to mesh with the surrounding Red Cliffs Desert Reserve and the beautiful panoramic backdrop of majestic red cliffs. Being across the road from the legendary Red Mountain Spa, (did you know that mentioning you live in Eagle Rock gives you a 10% discount on everything -- including food!) we are also less than a half a mile from the mouth of Snow Canyon State Park which contains some of the area's most dramatic vistas of white and red rock, as well as lava formations. Hiking trails, paved walking paths, and bike trails continue up the canyon and connect to more than 40 miles of paths throughout the region.
Community amenities include the use of indoor and outdoor pools along with a meeting/party room, full kitchen, and workout room.
Eagle Rock is located in the suburban hamlet of Ivins, seven miles northwest of St. George, the county seat for Washington County, Utah. Ivins has a population of 8,500 and contains all of the amenities you would expect from a progressive and growing community of its size. Washington County is the second fastest growing county in the USA and is located in the southwest corner of Utah. St. George and surrounding communities are approximately 120 miles from Las Vegas and 38 miles from its nearest Nevada town, Mesquite. We are also within a two and a half hour drive of three national parks with Zion National Park only an hour away. Less than two hours away are many national forests, lakes, camping areas and, even a ski resort. Elevations range from 2,800 feet in St. George to 11,000+ feet in the nearby mountains. At an approximate elevation of 3,000 feet in Ivins, snow is rarely seen. With over 300 days of sunshine, golf and most outdoor sports, can be played all year. The area also hosts the annual Huntsman World Senior Games and the St. George Marathon.
