AMA membership is required for all EPA members and strongly recommended for all others.

EPA members should wear their badges when flying
Use the frequency pins and attach them to your transmitter even if you are flying alone (if applicable).
If someone else is waiting for the frequency pin, limit your flight to 20 minutes (if applicable).
The use of frequency tags on transmitters is encouraged and appreciated (if applicable).
Fly from designated locations or pilot stations.
Alert other flyers before takeoff and landing.
Verbally announce all maiden flights to everyone present on the field in case of a mishap or loss of control.
The departure turn should always be away from the pit area
Under no circumstances is flying over the soccer field permitted when someone is there regardless of what they are doing.
Always keep your aircraft at a safe distance from other pilots when performing approaches or low fly-bys.
Dead sticks and gliders should always be given landing and pattern priority.
If you must go onto the field when others are flying, announce it verbally and loudly to the other pilots.
Please be sure guests and spectators are briefed on safety and remain off the field.
Never perform aircraft maintenance on the field when others are flying.
When salvaging a model do it quickly, and vacate the field as soon as possible
Do not create distractions to other flyers.
Some pilots do not mind being approached when they are flying but some do. If you wish to converse with a pilot, it may be best to wait until he or she lands.
Please control your children and pets at all times
Kindly take any broken parts or other trash with you when you leave.
