I love teaching ! 

Bonjour, je m'appelle Nathalie et je suis professeur depuis 2004. Je suis née dans l'ouest de la France et maintenant, j'habite à Salisbury.

I аm а native French and I have been a full-time tutor since 2004 . I cater for all levels, working with both young people and adults to improve their French. Tutoring 30 students a week in 1 to 1 or 2 to 1 is a hugely rewarding role. 

People describe me as enthusiastic, skilled, engaging and reliable.

Many of my students are adults learning French for pleasure or business. Emphasis is on learning through conversation and through fun activities such as games.

I help students who are preparing for their GCSEs and A Levels. I have had great success with all my pupils, some of them obtained a Grade 9 two years ahead of their peers. It is amazing what teenagers can achieve when learning through engaging activities !

A few of my students have Dyslexia or are on the autistic spectrum. 

Tutoring Approach

The enjoyment of speaking French is a key to success, as is learning how to learn efficiently. In many cases, my sessions have a significant impact not only on the French grade but also on other academic subjects. I am passionate аbоut helping students reаch their full pоtentiаl.

I tailor lessons to meet the individual needs of my students with a gentle and creative approach. I love instilling my love of learning into my pupils and I always get results in a relaxed, enjoyable and rewarding way. Students progress rapidly as most of the sessions are spent talking in French, even with beginners. The objective is to make you feel confident in French. 

I organise a game afternoon at my house now and again, playing Carcassone or Les Aventuriers du Rail. This is a relax and fun afternoon to practice chatting in French.

Price and location

£28 per hour (one or two students),  £23 for 45 min,  £18 for 30min.

A £3 supplement applies for lessons finishing after 3.30pm (£2 supplement for 30 minutes lesson) .

This also applies to lessons taking place at weekend or during school holidays. 

I offer all new students a half price hour-long trial lesson.

Lessons are usually held in my house (just off Castle Road, very easy to park) or online.
