Emily Fletcher

  I am a professor and the chair of the Department of Philosophy at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My current research interests lie in Ancient Greek and Roman Philosophy. More specifically, I work on moral psychology, ethics, cosmology, and argumentative strategies in Plato's dialogues. I am currently writing a book about the defense of justice in the Republic. My teaching interests extend beyond the history of philosophy to contemporary ethics and feminist philosophy.
