I help to organize the Algebra, Geometry, and Combinatorics seminar at SF State. Another particularly rewarding hat I wear is faculty advisor for the Mathematistas, SF State's student group devoted to gender equity in mathematics.
At the University of Michigan, I co-founded the GradTONES (Troupe of Needlessly Educated Singers), a graduate student a cappella group. I have most recently sung in San Francisco with the wonderful Resound Ensemble.
Another of my favorite activities is rock-climbing (more specifically, bouldering). Photo/spotting credit for the image above goes to my husband, Dusty Ross, who is also a professor in the math department at SF State. In addition to being partners in climbing, we are partners in parenting Maya Ross Clader, who joined the world on June 18, 2021.
