Presenter Instructions

Instructions for Poster Presentations:

Posters have been allocated a specific day (Wednesday or Thursday) for presentation; they will need to be put up at the start of the specified day and removed at the end of the specified day. Poster presenters are expected to stand by their poster from 13.15 – 13.45 (i.e. during the second half of the lunch break) on their specified day. See the EMGM programme.

The poster boards are landscape (115 cm wide x 85cm tall) (A0). If people wish to bring portrait format posters, they may do so, but the poster will hang down below the bottom of the board and may curl slightly.

Instructions for Platform Presentations:

Talks have been allocated 15 minutes, plus 5 minutes for questions/changeover. Please stick to your allotted time!

Please bring your presentation with you on a USB stick as a PowerPoint or PDF file, and upload it onto our Windows PC in the break prior to your allocated session at the latest. We do NOT encourage use of your own laptop. If you prefer, you can email us your talk as an email attachment (up until 15.00 on Tuesday 10^th May) at: emgm.newcastle@gmail.com

To help us easily identify the talks, please make sure to use a filename that indicates the session number to which your talk has been assigned, and your own name. E.g. Session5_HeatherCordell_EMGM2016.pdf
