Design and construction of a beetroot sugar analyzer

This Project was accomplished to prepare a fully automatized beetroot sugar analyzer. The prepared system collects 50 kg of beetroot from a truck. The collected beetroots are washed, cut, and grated in the next stages. Finally, the prepared grated samples are delivered to the laboratory section to test the sugar.

The automatized system includes 6 line-start induction motors and 24 electric valves. Precise timing is required to make sure that all the stages are down effectively. The 23 limit switches were used to provide digital feedback to recognize the location of each moving part and determine the stopping time.
