There will be no burial on a cemetery lot or gravesite until the plot is paid for in full.
All plot owners shall be a member of this cemetery with voting rights.
No curbs are to be constructed without permit from the cemetery.
It is the responsibility of the “owner” of the gravesite to notify the cemetery of change of ownership or designation of the right of a particular person or persons to use it.
Lots will remain free of trees and shrubbery with exception of those already in the cemetery (1994).
All lots now sold will be grassed (1994).
No chemicals, weed killers, etc. are to be used in the cemetery except by employees of the cemetery.
Floral tributes will be limited to one per “grave” in plot with “in season” flowers placed at the head of the stone. Tributes should be placed in appropriate containers: no glass containers, no tin cans, and no baskets. Floral tributes will be removed when they become unsightly and cluttering.
All caskets must be enclosed in a vault.
The directors of the Elm Branch Cemetery need your help and support to maintain the cemetery in the best possible condition with the available funds.
The Elm Branch Cemetery is an old cemetery dating back to 1877. We must be dedicated to the continuing efforts of preserving this history and making decisions to stay abreast of the changing times.
