I am a Senior Lecturer (equivalent to Associate Professor) in philosophy at the University of Edinburgh. I work on and teach a broad range of topics, including moral responsibility, normative ethics, feminism, meta-ethics and practical ethics.
I am currently Deputy Head of Department, and Postgraduate Advisor for Philosophy.
I spent the academic year 2015-16 on a Laurence S. Rockefeller Visiting Fellowship at Princeton University. I have also recently held visiting positions at Dartmouth College and The University of Colorado, Boulder. Before coming to Edinburgh I was an assistant professor at CU Boulder, and before that, assistant professor Arizona State University.
I did my PhD at Reading University, and during my studies spent time at the Australian National University (on a Northcote Scholarship) and at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
