Dataset on immigrant population in Europe

Together with Hillel Rapoport (PSE) and Alberto Alesina (Harvard), we assembled a fully harmonized population census/register data at the regional level (NUTS) for more than 140 regions in 16 European countries in the years 1990, 2000 and 2010.

We used this dataset in our joint paper “Immigration and Preferences for Redistribution in Europe”. Please cite this paper if you use this data.
