My main research interest is orientated towards the mathematical modeling of transport phenomena and the numerical analysis of the computational methods that can be used to numerically solve the PDE's associated to such models. By deducing models based on the physical laws that govern the processes, I am concerned in creating interdisciplinary work between mathematics and the different domains of science where these kind of problems are of interest.

My secondary research interest is in the field of spectral graph theory. Namely, in the estimation of upper bounds and equality conditions for the energy of graphs and their generalization for the energy of digraphs.
