After obtaining a B.Sc. and a M.Sc. at Bocconi University in Milan (my lovely hometown), I spent five years in Sweden and completed a Ph.D. in Economics at the Stockholm School of Economics. During my graduate studies I was very fortunate to spend a year as Visiting Scholar at the Department of Economics at Stanford University.
After Sweden, I moved to the Netherlands and joined the Department of Economics at Tilburg University as Assistant Professor. During this time I also had the opportunity to spend a few months as Visiting Scholar at the University of Texas at Austin.
From October 2019 to August 2025 I worked as a behavioral economist at the research unit of Telenor Group. I provided insights to several branches of the company by running experiments (A/B tests), conducting surveys, and performing statistical analyses on internal company data. Nowadays, I keep collaborating on similar projects through my current position as research advisor.
In September 2025 I joined the Economics and Methodology group at the Oslo Business School at OsloMet.Â
