RIZ SOLID STATE RADIO RECORDER
Radio receiver/cassette recorder from 1960 or 1970.
It uses germanium transistors and 0.4W sanyo speaker.
It has stop button, locking rewind button, non locking fast forward button, play/record button.
Red button is for record and it can only be pressed, when plastic tab on cassete isnt broken of.
3 modes: FM, AM and cassette.
I cleaned and resoldered potentiometer on the board.
I also sanded corosion of the switch contacts.
Power: 4 C cell batteries.
On the picture you can see vacuum tube socket used as connector from radio receiver to amplifier/cassette tape board. Proably it was used in the factory to connect radio board to some measuring table and calibrate frequencyes.
Analog meter indicates battery or volume level-only when recording.
