Opportunities to Care for our Members and Neighbors

Last year ELC again partnered with Trinity Northside and the Food Cupboard to purchase children's gifts. In addition ELC generously collected hats, gloves, scarves, socks and long underwear for Abiding Ministries. Thank you to everyone who provided gifts and items for those in need.

Highway Clean Up

The Social Ministry and Outreach Committee organized a highway clean-up on October 1st. Seven adults and four youth met in Bassler Hall at 9:00 am for doughnuts, juice and supplies before setting out to clean-up Little Creek Rd. from Route 19 to Swain Hill. The group collected 30 bags of trash. Thank you to everyone who volunteered their Saturday morning. Below is part of our group hard at work!

The Social Ministry and Outreach Committee sponsored a fundraiser to help our members and neighbors during the month of September and October to collect funds to repair a roof for a member in Zelienople and The Lutheran Disaster Response for flooding in the South. Thank you to all who donated and made a positive difference in their lives.
