2) Dave Carry Proposal one:
Based on a seeding formula resembling the NCAA baseball regional seeding (commonly referred to as the S curve) but set up for 4 x 6 team divisions divided into two leagues. Starting with the 2023 EJ season, Division seeds will be formatted based on the win totals of each franchise over the last four years (2018, 2019, 2020 & 2021) plus the win totals of the upcoming 2022 EJ season. League 1 (East) to include division A (TBD) with the 1, 8, 9, 16, 17 & 24 seeds and division D (TBD) with the 4, 5, 12, 13, 20 & 21 seeds. League 2 (west) to include division B (TBD) with the 2, 7, 10, 15, 18 & 23 seeds and division C (TBD) with the 3, 6, 11, 14, 19, & 22 seeds. The alignment process is scheduled to be reworked again in 2028 by taking the win totals from seasons 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026 & 2027 and at five year intervals into the future. The naming of the divisions is open to the editorial license of the league.
Current win totals for the past four years and potential seeds are available on request..
3) Dave Carry Proposal two:
Is based solely on seniority, members are divided into six team divisions according to their year of entry into the league. The balance goal is achieved in the context that the most senior members will compete in a division at one end and our newest members will be in a bucket at the other end to compete and go through the learning curve together. The Senior division and Newbies in one league with the Junior and Sophomore divisions in the other league. Naming of the divisions is open to the editorial license of the league I.e. Gold, Silver, Bronze and Tin. This process also is intended to be reworked at five year intervals.
The list of the current breakdown is available on request.
