Introduction

This is an unofficial site for the EISS volumes that are available online at the official site http://www.cssp.cnrs.fr/ in case that site is down. "EISS" stands for "Empirical Issues in Syntax and Semantics", sometimes a.k.a. the proceedings of CSSP ("CSSP" stands for "Colloque de Syntaxe et Sémantique à Paris").

EISS was first published online beginning with volume 5. Volumes 1 (Google Books), 2 (Google Books), and 4 (Google Books) were paper editions published by three different publishers; volume 3, unfortunately, was never published.

Since the main intention behind this site is to provide "emergency copies" of volumes 5–14, only the files for the whole volumes are available here, because you can easily recover any paper in any volume using these files. Note that the official site also provides individual files for the included papers.
