Why is this pathfinder called a journey of hope?
A journey of hope describes my doctoral studies as well as this pathfinder. Learning is infinite and and so is my journey. Hope provides me the strength to continue along this journey. I composed the following text using various ideas I ponder when thinking about hope. Some of the phrases are based on things I've heard or read regarding hope.
What is hope?
To want?
To desire?
To expect that what's envisioned may indeed happen?
Is hope the gut feeling that it's worth holding out and hanging on for just a little longer?
Is hope the core of the human condition?
Can you have hope without faith and humility and wonder?
What does it take to hope?
Hope takes never ceasing to be amazed . . .
Wearing your soul on your sleeve . . .
Believing that tomorrow could be better than today . . .
That you matter . . .
That you'll make a difference . . .
What does it take to hope?
Questions that guide my Reflection:
What do you hope to accomplish?
Where do you hope this journey will take you?
