Pr. Eugenio (Gino) Traballano - Born in Italy, began practicing Full Contact Kick Boxing in 1986 and two years later, in 1988, he was introduced to the variety of Combat Sports by his second trainer M. Cortese.

He competed in Savate, Muay Thai, Kick Boxing (international rules) reaching a record of 17 victories, two draws, and three losses.

In 1992, he achieved his first Instructor certification in Savate and started his own school, École de Combat (EdeC), with long time training partner, and current trainer of the Italian Savate Team, Professor Marco Gilotti. For a short while he trained in France at the I.N.S.E.P. with the Equipe de France and Richard Sylla. In 1999, he certified Silver Glove 1 and moved to the US where he joined the United States Savate Federation and took the position of National Technical Advisor. In 2001, Gino started EdeC’s UAS branch at Murphy’s Bareknuckle Gym and went on training a variety of successful national and international competitors. In 2008, he coached one of the largest US teams participating in the Savate Assaut World Championships and went back to Europe to certify as Silver Glove 2.
