A NEW RACING PIGEON CLUB IN BANGALORE IS BORN!

The Bangalore Racing Pigeon Society held its first meeting on the 17th of March 2019 at 9.30 am at Kyalasanhalli, on Dodda Gubbi Main Road, off Hennur Road, Bangalore. Four fanciers were present at this meeting: Edison Thomas, Santosh, Zubair and Srinivas. This was the day our club was born!

We have decided to be a club that puts the pigeon first and will not allow any harm or distress to come to the bird. We will be very strict about the health of the racing pigeon before basketing and other cruelty issues. We are accommodating as far as the fancier goes, but not when it comes to the safety of the bird.

This will also be a club that teaches its members the finer aspects of pigeon keeping and there will be a lot of opportunity for discussions and interactions. We would like to welcome new fanciers and beginners to our club and strongly discourage members from existing clubs. Kindly excuse us if you are already a part of a club in Bangalore.

Our club is based in Bangalore, however, we encourage fanciers in other parts of the country to be in touch with us to hold reverse race point competitions. Will be fun.
