A web site for the fiery cousin in House of Cards
He walks like he knows how to use his sword, which is nothing less than I'd expect from Bleys' son. In fact, I'd expect him to be able to fight with one hand while composing a sonnet with the other.

I am... likely... not the best suited to discuss the subject of God, or the ramifications of power.
-- Edan
We all toy with probability. We impose our will upon the grand design of the Merciful One, change the natural order of things. We surround ourselves with outrageous circumstance, and then wonder why events affect us as they do.

"So, not a warrior or a sorcerer, or even a mathematician, but a dancer," she
observes. "Can I ask why?"
"It is the essence of who I am," Edan says. "The dance is behind
everything I do. No matter how complicated things may become, in
that, my life is gloriously simple."

So who is Edan?
Edan ("Eh-dan" not "Eee-dan") is the son of Bleys of
Amber and Julnar of the Dar-esh-Salaam. Most of the other
cousins know very little about him.
Edan was raised in the Land of Peace, a setting which
could best be described as an Ottoman empire on
Earth with 1930's technology. He spent his childhood
in the vast cities on the western shores of the Inland
Sea; there, he was educated as befitted an up and
coming merchant prince. He developed a liking for
the arts, and threw himself into dance and sculpture
whenever time would allow.
Bleys was an infrequent visitor, and a very frustrating
father figure; he would charm Edan with gifts and
knowledge, not to mention his personality, then disappear
for months or years. When Edan's fondness for his father
began to wane and fester, Bleys would return and
charm him all over again.
Bleys came to the Land of Peace when Edan was in his
late teens, and began an intensive education of his own.
After Edan came back to the Land of Peace, he took up the
plight of the tribes of the Deep Desert (a hellish place where
the oil that drives the city economies is drilled). Edan
helped them to win their independence, at the cost of his
humanity; to win the struggle, he travelled to the land of
the djinn (actually another shadow) and learned the fiery
powers of his mother's heritage. The act has set a rift between
him and his past, his family and his betrothed.
Edan is played in HOC: the Movie by Antonio Banderas, and is written by Allen Veazey.
