Welcome to Moon Moon Haque's web page!
With over 14 + years of experience in academic administration and leadership, and currently, as the Dean of the Thumbay College of Management & AI in Healthcare at Gulf Medical University, UAE; I have been driving transformative change in the education system through innovative curricula, interdisciplinary collaboration, and student-centered learning. I am also dedicated to fostering academic excellence and creating an inclusive, forward-thinking environment where students, faculty, and staff thrive. By fostering a culture of excellence, inclusivity, and collaboration, I am proud to lead a team of scholarly faculty members who are shaping healthcare education's future. Our goal is to continually evolve to meet the needs of a rapidly changing healthcare landscape while upholding our core values of quality, knowledge dissemination, diversity, and life-long learning.
Under my leadership, the College has launched new programs, such as a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence and Health Informatics, BSc in Applied AI in Healthcare and upcoming futuristic MBA, and several other interdisciplinary short programs in the healthcare field; received reaccreditation of existing programs from the CAA, Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, UAE; expanded faculty research output by more than double in the last 3 years, and developed a strong partnership with industry leaders in the UAE.
My vision is to prepare students for the challenges of tomorrow by fostering critical thinking, global perspectives, and practical problem-solving skills while advancing the institution’s mission of academic integrity and global impact.
I am passionate about building strong relationships with faculty and industry partners to ensure our graduates are not only academically accomplished but also ready to lead in their chosen fields.
I look forward to continuing to drive innovation in higher education and welcome opportunities to collaborate with like-minded professionals dedicated to academic growth and student success.
