My research interests are mainly in cultural economics, with a particular focus on public and political economic issues related to the cultural field. In the last years my work has addressed the determinants of the provision and organization of public cultural services, the decision making concerning the selection of UNESCO World Heritage and the economic role and geographic concentration of cultural and creative industries.

My work also touches on Institutional and Law & Economics, where I am interested in the analysis of the emergence and evolution of property rights regimes, for both tangible and intangible resources.
