A Note About Commentaries
Commentaries can be very useful BUT they are not God's inspired word. A commentary is the opinion of a person that has probably done more study than you, but all opinions are colored by the authors predisposed views. First prayerfully read God's word and see what it says to you and then look at a commentary. When using a commentary it is best to look at several different commentaries and determine if they are all in general agreement, or, as is often the case, there are several different viewpoints expressed. Always remember; context is King and God's word NEVER contradicts itself.
Audio Bible Listening to God's word is a great way to learn God's word and reduce the tensions of traffic or the drudgery of a long trip. There are many different types of audio Bibles from simple readings of literal translations to dramatized paraphrases. The link here is to a free download of a literal reading.
