JOIN OUR TEAM. SAVE ENERGY. RAISE MONEY FOR EASTIN.

Eastin Elementary is participating in an innovative fundraiser through OhmConnect that doesn’t require participants to spend any money. All you have to do is reduce the amount of energy your household uses during an Ohm Hour and Eastin PTC earns money. THANK YOU to the 52 families and staff members that joined our OhmConnect team in the spring. Our team has already earned $845! This is free money for our school because our team reduced energy during our Ohm Hours during the spring and summer. Imagine how much money we could earn if we had 100 or even 200 members on our team.

Unfamiliar with OhmConnect? OhmConnect partners with PG&E. PG&E gives OhmConnect money to pass on to teams that reduce their energy usage during peak usage times or when the grid is unstable. PG&E would rather encourage customers to use less energy instead of purchasing “dirty” energy during these peak times.

Interested in helping?

  • Stop by the PTC table during Back to School Night on Wednesday and we’ll help you join our team. Bring your PG&E account information with you to make the process easier. Families, faculty and staff are encouraged to join!

or

  • Join our team online at www.ohm.co/EastinSavesEnergy

  • Connect your PG&E account with OhmConnect

  • Beat your energy usage forecast during a designated Ohm Hour and Eastin PTC earns money!

Thank you for your continued support! Questions? Email us at EastinPTC@gmail.com. (posted 9/9/19)

Announcing Eastin’s New Energy Saving Fundraiser with OhmConnect! Save Energy. Raise money for Eastin.

Delaine Eastin is now participating in a simple fundraising program that turns your energy savings into cash donations for our school. This FREE program reduces electricity use from polluting power plants and can drive thousands of dollars to our school. It DOES NOT require you to donate, pledge or purchase anything. There is no cost to join and participate - just save energy to raise money for Eastin.

How does it work?

  1. Sign up for our school’s team at www.ohm.co/EastinSavesEnergy.

  2. Connect your OhmConnect account to PG&E.

  3. Save energy during an energy-saving hour called an “OhmHour” 3-4 times per month.

  4. OhmConnect donates money to our school based on how much energy our team saves.

Why sign up and participate?

· The program is easy and fun. Plus, it generates FREE money for our school!

· Earn a chance to win 1 of 2 Amazon Gift Cards ($50 & $100) when you sign up and connect your account to PG&E.

· As goals are achieved, students will get rewards (i.e. extra recess) and 100% OF THE FUNDS RAISED will go to the school and classrooms to buy wanted/needed books and school supplies. (posted 4/18/19)
