Wednesday 8th November 2023. Another great meeting for the EDG's. Our two players from Finland, Ilmari Niskanen and Viljami Sinisalo spent the evening with us (after having first gone to the wrong Blue Ball!) , answering all our questions. We learnt about host families for young players, the stress of being a keeper, Sweenie's punishments for late arrival, and all about Finland. Thanks chaps for spending your time with us, and best wishes for your footballing careers.

Next Business Meeting: Monday 26th February at the Blue Ball 19:30
9th October - What a night!
The visit of Gary Caldwell and David Perkins has to be the best EDG meeting in years, with an audience of around 50. For two hours they responded to all our questions with interesting and thoughtful comments, and a fair number of laughs. They talked about their careers to date, Old Firm games in Glasgow, how they select and test new players, what they need in a Club and Team Captains, how to select a keeper, the affect of ECFT being Trust owned, "Finishers", and many other aspects of running a club.
No-one could dispute their enthusiasm and insight which promises great things for Exeter City. Most of all, both of them seemed to be delighted to be with us. Not many football clubs can match that. Thanks Gary, thanks Perks!
Lots of photos here. (You're welcome to download if you wish.)
8th March - Nombe and Caprice
Sam Nombe and Jake Caprice came to talk to us at the Blue Ball, and answered lots of questions about the careers and aspirations. They were great company, and real gents. Sadly both left City at the end of the season, but we wish them well.
