Welcome to the E2K Science Resource Site!
In this website, you will be able to find a wide range of resources that can aid you in your E2K lesson preparations/reviews, such as:
Background of E2K - What it takes to be a good E2K teacher, what constitutes a good E2K lesson and characteristics of good E2K pupils
Identification of students - Guidelines on how to select pupils for your E2K program.
Lesson resources - Lesson plans, presentation slides and other teaching resources.
You will notice that these resources may be slightly different from the resources you have seen during your training sessions. This is deliberate, as the resources you accessed while in your E2k course was tailored to adult learners, and may contain additional information your pupils do not need to know. The lessons may have also been based on the short amount of time you had in the course. In this site, you have access to resources for the full lessons. However, you are of course welcome to modify the resources for your own personal use based on what is most appropriate to your profile of learners.
We also hope to provide a support network through this website. Under Our Community, you can seek advice from the GEB officers, as well as the rest of the E2K teachers community on some of the more common issues faced in lesson preparations, deliveries and reviews.
