Bont Photos: People
This page is less about pubs and chapels and more about some of the people who were mentioned in our Cambria article. It starts with Dylan's Bont relations, then moves on to Dan Matthews and, finally, Daniel Lewis, and Wynford Vaughan Thomas.
We've only got a few of these photos so we'd be grateful for any others, especially of Dylan's family, that could be emailed to us (see the Home page for our email addresses).

We've not been able to find a picture of Granny Williams, but here's one of her cauldron instead, rescued with her books and papers from her falling-down cottage.

The next selection of photos are of Dan Matthews, mostly with members of his drama company. But it begins with an image of some of his family:

Daniel Lewis' Gopa cottage, Pontardulais
Daniel Lewis' daughter, Morfydd, in 1902, landlady of the Farmers Arms. She was later to marry composer D. Vaughan Thomas and become mother to Spencer, Vaughan and Wynford Vaughan Thomas.
