BACKGROUND
Who:
Reader, dreamer, board gamer, fantasy fan (but not only), I know the games & the players, what they want & what they need. And I know that to translate a game, it is not enough to be a translator!
Where:
While Harry Potter lives under the stairs, I work just above, in a staircase that I call my Dungeon. Of course, as in any self-respecting dungeon, there are other rooms, such as the Dragon Chamber (my game reserve!).
Why:
Once upon a time... Well, ok, let's make the short version!
In the 1980s, I translated for myself. Since internet, I translate for the French Net surfers, in particular for the kickstarter backers. Even if the work is satisfactory, players still have to combine the English content with French play aids. Now, if you are able to sell a totally French version of your game, everyone will win!
Time:
If I believe what I am told, I work quickly (this is probably my natural ability). A team member of a game creator once told me "that was the fastest translation ever! You are a mythical creature" (that would explain my natural ability!)
Of course, having more time allows a more in-depth work when needed. I stay tuned to your needs and I adapt to your rhythm (I am demanding in my work but I remain accessible!)
