If there are too many teams participating it makes sense to have a qualification round and then choose around 6 teams for the final.
- The qualification round generally involves the actor receiving a chit with 3 items, most commonly they are a movie, a word, and a personality.
- Other variations include replacing one of the above with books or places or events.
- The time limit is generally 60 secs or 90 secs.
- Each one of them must have the same points say 10.
- To prevent ties Time Inverse is recommended.
- Time inverse stands for a round which has a mwpe or a couple of them to act in say 60 secs.If a team finishes within 40 secs, it gets say 10 points for a book and 20 points for (60-40)secs. i.e Time taken is inversed and added to the points. This is only when all the movies or objects are acted out, none should be left.
- So if a team acts all 3 items in a 90 sec round in 50 secs. It gets 10+10+10+(90-50)=70 points.
- Sometimes instead of time inverse more than one chit could be provided to the teams.
