Current Research Areas

• Modulation and Error Correction Coding for Optical Communications

- The project targets design of error-correction coding and signal modulation techniques for transmission over optical communication links, with special attention to the channels non-linearity and low-complexity low-latency signal processing requirements.

• Spatial Graph Coupling for Wireless Communications

- The project targets design of transmission and reception techniques for multiple antenna wireless communications, based on spatial graph coupling principle, and, in particular, on coupling information transmission method.

• Random Access Communications

- The project is dedicated to design of random access schemes utilizing multi-user detection methods and spatial graph coupling theory.

• Algorithms for Underwater Acoustic Communications

- The project focuses on techniques for estimation and tracking of underwater communication channels, equalization, data transmission and reception, graphical models, and iterative processing.
